Leia Morrison is a predominantly analogue photographer capturing the subtle, often shadowed elements of friendship, love, self-empowerment, and softness through a feminine lens.

Her work celebrates the full range of the human experience, from grief to joy, with the same sensitive approach, and she often places her subjects within the rich landscape of rural Wales, where she was raised and lives.

Her photography resists the staged, posed and perfected ideologies of visual culture today, opting instead for a more documentary approach. She celebrates organic moments, the humanity of her subjects, natural light and rural communities, resulting in a portfolio that feels both contemporary and nostalgic.
